IV Therapy and Central Line Management

This clinical training program provides healthcare professionals with the essential skills for peripheral intravenous therapy and central venous access device (CVAD) management. The curriculum covers the standard of care for IV initiation, site selection, and fluid administration, along with protocols for maintenance and troubleshooting common complications. Dedicated modules focus on central line care, including sterile dressing change techniques, flushing protocols, and evidence-based strategies for preventing Catheter-Associated Bloodstream Infections (CLABSI). Students will gain the technical knowledge required to ensure patient safety and maintain vascular access integrity according to current clinical guidelines.
